Making your way in the performing arts world can be daunting. Finding auditions in your city, for your voice type, in your budget is a key step in nailing a role. Here are some resources to help you navigate the wild and often wooly world of “making it”.

Here are some websites that include listed auditions for musical theatre, plays, film and commercials. You can search for listings by type, city, state, paid/non-paid, etc. Subscription or membership may be required.

Opera Singers

Most regional opera house auditions are made known only to agents and managers. However, some companies announce auditions through publications. Still, most auditions that are listed in these publications are Young Artist programs and workshops. Most mainstage professional auditions that are listed are held in the city where the company is located. Subscription or membership may be required.
